Hi all and welcome to class. This will be a busy day as we get setup today. There are a number of items we need to accomplish in a short time. First of which is introductions. So while I make sure we are all in the right classroom and on the same page, think of what you want to share with the rest of the class. Our format will be something like this:

Name, Current occupation, What you expect to get from this class, and Favorite TV character (and why)

In addition to introductions, we wil also get everyone setup to use both Blackboard and this Wiki. We will discuss the expectations of the instructor and the students and review the plans for the semester. I hope to keep this first night relatively short, so lets get started.
