I'm Rachel, an NMS grad student from Chicago. I work in marketing for an online media company and I'm interested in learning enough skills to become an interactive designer.

My question to be answered by next class: How proficient do you think we will be at the end of this course, more specifically, will we have enough skills to create web sites for ourselves and professional use?

"What was the one thing you wanted to take away from this class?"

At the end of this course I wanted to be able to build properly functioning and aesthetically pleasing websites for myself and others. Although I do not feel as confident as I would hope, I did learn the basics of CSS and HTML, enough to find my way into a halfway decent looking website. I want to spend the summer perfecting my skills and learning tricks of the trade so I feel confident enough to freelance as a website builder and designer.
