My place of employment is DePaul. My current jobs are to help special populations get funded and graduate from college, as well as teaching intermittent grad courses. My life's work is still unknown, but I am sure hoping I get started soon...
I have many passions...sports, traveling and learning are a few. Oh, and finding new passions.
I really like tv and would love to be one of those people who says they don't have time to watch it, but that's not going to happen(especially since dvr), so this is a tough answer. Making it tougher is that I am really bad at picking favorites, I am one of those "well it depends on..." kind of people. For tonight...Coach from Cheers-unsuspectingly and unintentionally funny, gotta love him. I just can't resist adding, Stewie on Family Guy, Goren and Law and Order and 25 more people I will think of at random times of the day for the next few days.
The one thing I wanted to learn...Honestly, when I wrote this in the beginning of the term, I remembered leaving that part out because I had no idea what to even say I wanted to learn, other than to learn more about the process of creating and designing a website. In short, I learned more than I knew I could. From beginning to end, I created a website hand coding it, and the time and attention to detail that goes into it gave me a whole new respect for the process of creating and designing. This class was a great foundation for understanding how websites are created and it allows me to build as I move forward. While there were growing pains and many, many frustrations, what did turn out as I expected is that the pain was well worth the reward.
